Jangryeongsan Recreational Forest

Jangryeongsan Recreational Forest

Jangryeongsan recreational forest includes Geumcheon Valley and Jangryeongsan. A dam was built at the downstream of Geumcheon Valley to maintain a fixed depth and current speed. For visitors, there are log cabins, camping grounds, barefoot walking trails, and basking in the woods. Also, a large public field, playground, and outdoor music hall are located for convenience of group activity. There are 4 trails to Jangryeongsan from the recreational forest and they start with a famous iron bridge in Geumcheon Valley. For those who do not wish to climb, there are various natural paths where people can relax.

Climbing trails are difficult in the beginning, but they become easy after arriving at the ridge. Wangkwan Stone, Chotdae Stone, and Guhbuk Stone can be seen on the way and an observation latform provides a view of the entire scenery.
