Lacquer
The Korean government designated
a lacquer business district in Okcheon.
In the past, the region used a bud, skin, and resin for profit but now, lacquer toenjang (Korean soy-bean paste), lacquer water, lacquer tea bag, and lacquer feed are used to raise profit. Next to a town hall in Godang-li, there is a 250 year old lacquer tree and a fountain.
