Climbing Mt. Daesung begins from Uipyoung reservoir. After passing the reservoir and a trail map, a road divides into two. A trail straight ahead passes three water falls to reach the peak, and the other trail passes a single, big water fall and leads to a way leading to the peak. In the beginning, a trail that lies next to the valley is not so difficult but as you go along, thick bushy trails and steep hills can present a considerable challenge. After passing over the peak, a trail that passes Koburangjae and reaches Uipyoung reservoir is 5.3 km in length, and it takes about 2 hours and 40 minutes.
